The Undergraduate Student Government is the governing organization for the Undergraduate Students at UIC. Our goal is to constantly be improving the quality of life for all students at UIC. The Undergraduate Student Government accomplishes this goal through the work of six committees Academic Affairs, Campus Facilities, Communications, External Affairs, Minority Affairs, and Student Affairs. The Undergraduate Student Government serves as a lobbying body for the Undergraduate Students, a source of funding for Student Organizations, and a voice that represents the Student Body to the University Administration.

We are made up of an Executive Board, an Assembly and Associate Members. The Executive Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Assembly Speaker. The Assembly consists of 25 Assembly Members, which includes the chair (or co-chairs) of each committee. An Assembly Member is a voting member of the Undergraduate Student Government that is required to attend all meetings and do at least 3 service hours a week. There can be an unlimited amount of Associate Members. However, an Associate Member is a non-voting member of Undergraduate Student Government that is not required to attend all meeting and has no mandatory service hours.
