Paula Allen-Meares, dean of the nationally top-ranked school of social work at the University of Michigan, has been selected as the next chancellor of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), pending formal approval by the Board of Trustees.
The chancellor serves as the executive officer of the UIC campus and reports to the president of the University of Illinois in a system that includes campuses in Urbana-Champaign and Springfield and the university's online Global Campus.

USG is a great organization, or I obviously wouldn't be in it. The only downside is that the student body as a whole is sometimes unaware of USG and what we do. USG serves as a student council for the undergradute student body. If you would like more information on what we do or how to join, contact me! I would love to tell you about USG.
